Reye's Configuration
2.1 Definition
A system of 12 planes and 12 points is called a Reye’s Configuration if it is satisfied below[5]
(Figure 2.1):
(1) it consists of 16 lines,
(2) there are four lines passing through every point,
(3) there are three points lie on every line.
In character 4, we consider a Reye’s configuration has three centers of perspectivity w.r.t three pairs
of squares, and specially, only one pair squares are “really” on , so the center of perspectivity w.r.t this
pair is real, the other two are unreal (Figure 2.2).
2.2 Application
In physics field, mathematical models are used again and again; the Reye’s Configuration is not an
exception. There is one paper about using Reye’s Configuration to proof a physical theorem [6].
