We know Archimedean Solids are very good mathematical models, they are familiar everywhere,
even in high schools in Taiwan. If we can do some works on them, someday people may need these works
in other fields.
First time I saw the Reye’s Configuration, I though that it is a nice model, too! This model must be
important in other
field, I think. That why I combine Archimedean Solids and Reye’s Configuration,
to be my subject in this thesis.
In Character 1, we introduce the 13 Archimedean Solids slightly. In Character 2, we make the Reye’s
Configuration
from a small example. In character 3, we do some ‘warm-up’ before character 4. We make
some new polyhedras from
Archimedean Solids by using inversion, which are the base where I build
some Reye’s Configurations. In character 4,
we study on building Reye’s Configurations, and find some
‘numberal, concurret, collinear, coplanar’ properties on them.
